Open...

Opens an existing Total Commander configuration file (Wincmd.ini) that contains start menu entries you want to edit.

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+O
Toolbar button: toolbar icon

Save

Saves changes you already did to the start menu. This button will disabled after saving and will enabled again when there is any changes.

Toolbar button: toolbar icon

Save and Restart Total Commander

Saves changes and restart Total Commander if it is running, useful to make Total Commander reload the start menu with changes you already did.
This command available in Start Menu Editor only.

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Q

AlertTotal Commander will restart using settings in the file you are editing, therefore if this file isn't your default Wincmd.ini you may find some settings out of date.

Export...

Opens an existing Total Commander configuration file (Wincmd.ini) and export the current start menu entries. (this command works like Save As...)

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+E

Import...

Opens an existing Total Commander configuration file (Wincmd.ini) and import start menu entries from it.

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+I

Export To Totalcmd.inc...

Displays Export dialog box.

Check Mnemonics...

Search current file for duplicated mnemonic or items not containing mnemonics.

Recent Files

Displays the most recently used files to quickly open one of them.

Exit

Closes the current file and quits the program. If you try to quit before saving changes to your work, you'll be prompted to save your work first.
